HARASSMENT: 1800 block of East Denman. A man reported that his ex-girlfriend is harassing him by telephone with repeated calls.
THEFT: 1500 block of Cimmarron. Two pit bull dogs were reported stolen from a back yard. Occurred overnight Sunday.
THEFT: 2500 block of Daniel Mccall. A woman left her purse in the shopping cart after loading groceries into her car Saturday evening. When she remembered it, she went back to the store but the purse was gone.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2400 block of Spence St. All the windows were broken by rocks on a piece of heavy equipment called a wheel loader. Occurred over the weekend.
DEBIT CARD ABUSE: 100 block of South John Redditt Dr. A man reported that his debit card was taken from his vehicle and used without authorization over the weekend. The card was used at two locations in Lufkin.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 900 block of Kurth Dr. A woman reported that her estranged husband entered her apartment and stole her cell phone Sunday evening.
THEFT : 900 block of Kurth. A woman reported clothing missing from her apartment. There were no signs of forced entry and it's not known who may have taken the items.
FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 3500 block of South Medford Dr. Lowe's reported a bogus check had been passed at the Lufkin store in mid-December.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 900 block of Westbury Dr. A car was broken into and the stereo was stolen sometime early Monday morning.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 900 block of Jane St. A pickup was broken into Sunday night and the stereo was stolen.
THEFT: 2100 block of South Chestnut St. A ham radio tower antenna was stolen over the weekend.
HARASSMENT: 1200 block of Grove St. A woman reported that she was assaulted in her home by a known suspect Monday afternoon. The victim said the suspect had accused her of cheating with the suspect's husband. The victim sustained numerous cuts and abrasions during the assault.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 200 block of Fourth St. An ex-employee admitted to taking tools from his employer Monday morning. The employee was confronted by the employer and admitted the theft but failed to return the tools. Charges pending.
