Lufkin Police Report - 05/16/07

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  700 block of Markus St.  A cell phone was stolen from an unsecured vehicle Tuesday evening.

THEFT:  300 block of Laurel.  A possible internal theft of furniture was reported.

STALKING:  100 block of Armory St.  A woman reported that the ex-wife of the man the victim is dating has been following her.  The victim stated this problem has been going on for months.  

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE:  500 block of Dogwood St.  A black Isuzu Rodeo was stolen Saturday.  The vehicle was later found wrecked on FM 2497 in Hudson.

THEFT:  1500 block of West Frank St.  A cell phone was stolen from an unsecured car Monday afternoon while the victim went inside a store and left the windows down.

FRAUD:  1300 block of Ellis.  A man reported that his debit card was lost or stolen over the past few days and when he called the bank to report it, he found it had been used without his authorization at an unknown location.

FRAUD:  1900 block of South First St.  A woman reported that unauthorized charges were made on her credit card last week.

ASSIST OTHER AGENCIES: 200 block of Cummings.  Investigation of an apparent suicide on Monday afternoon by Fred Hurst Jr.  This investigation is related to the shooting investigation on S. Garvan St. where Mykesha Spencer was shot in the face by Hurst before Hurst went to his parent's home and took his own life.
