Mary's Shredded Beef Sandwich

Recipe from Mary Pinner of Munford, Tenn.

Ingredients:

  • 2 to 3 lbs beef roast
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar add to water
  • 1/3 cup paprika
  • 1 lg onion cut into large pieces

Directions:

  1. Cut roast into med sized pieces.
  2. Place in crock pot and add onion, water mixture, and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cook on high for 6 to 8 hours.
  4. Shred meat and stir

Serve on buns with favorite toppings. Enjoy!
