Nacogdoches Police Report - 05/29/07

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 4810 North Street. Unknown suspect entered unsecured vehicle. Taken was a stereo and twenty compact discs.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1204 North Mound. Unsecured vehicle entered and a stereo and child's toy car were taken.

THEFT: 2200 block of Pearl Street. A 5'x8' black utility trailer stolen in the past three weeks.

ASSAULT: 600 block of South Fredonia. A suspect struck another with a hand during an argument. Suspect agreed to leave, no charges filed.

HIT AND RUN: 900 block of Martin Luther King. Unknown white car struck complainant's vehicle in a parking lot and left the scene.

DWLI: 1500 block of South Street. Suspect contacted on traffic stop and found to have a suspended drivers license. Alicia Rodriguez was arrested.

DWLI: 700 block of Hunter Road. Officer stopped vehicle for traffic violation. The driver, Jesse Jinkins III, was found to have a revoked DL and was arrested.

THEFT: 1525 North Street-Taco Bell. Complainant reported cash missing from the office. The money was located in the dumpster of the business. They do not wish to file charges.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 800 block of Moore. Officers located the suspect in a disturbance in the roadway. Suspect was found to be intoxicated. Located on the suspect's person was a quantity of suspected marijuana. Robert Sterns was arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2800 block of Pearl Street. An unknown suspect cut three tires on the complainant's parked vehicle.

DWLI: 1000 block of West Seale Street. Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to have a suspended DL. Olivo Lopez was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 5200 block of East Main Street. Complainant reported several guns stolen from the residence. Entry was forced to the residence. Officers have a suspect, and the case is under investigation.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 1626 N. University Drive-Tetco. A known suspect used complainant's credit card without permission to make a purchase.

RETALIATION: 2600 block of Hunter Street. A suspect who was released from jail threatened the complainant for turning him into the police. Warrant requested.

DWI: 600 block of Lenwood. Suspect was contacted as a suspicious person in pioneer park. Suspect was found to be intoxicated. Kenneth Semon was arrested.

THEFT: 3200 block of North Street. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect stole a pit bull puppy.

HIT AND RUN: 700 block of North Street. Complainant reported that a Hispanic male in a maroon pickup struck his vehicle in a parking lot and failed to give information.

THEFT-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-EVADING ARREST. Officers responded to a theft complaint. Officers were advised that the suspect had stolen 21.00 from the complainant. Suspect was seen and fled from officers. When he was captured, the suspect was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1906 South Street. Unknown suspects threw a

brick through a window of the building.

THEFT-GRAFFITTI: 800 block of Lane Drive. Unknown suspects spray painted the exterior of the building and removed all of the copper lines to the building.

HARASSMENT: 200 block of Mitchell Street. A known suspect continues to call the complainant after being told not to do so.

ASSAULT: 2700 block of North Street. Two subjects got into an argument which turned physical. One subject received a bruised jaw and the other a bruised hand. No charges filed.

ASSAULT: 1600 block of Hurst. A 17 year old was assaulted by a parent after being struck with an extension cord . Case under investigation.
