Nacogdoches Police Report - 05/30/07

ASSAULT: 200 block of East Lakewood. A suspect struck a female victim with his closed fist during a disturbance. Toby Mardis was arrested.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 300 block of West Main. Complainant came to the police station and reported the unauthorized use of a credit card to make purchases.

ASSAULT: 2800 block of Pearl Street. A verbal argument turned physical when the suspect threw the victim down on a bed and began to choke her. Aaron Owens III was arrested.

THEFT: 2400 block of Pettit. Complainant reported a blue bicycle stolen from a yard.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 100 block of King Street. A stereo and amplifier was taken from complainant's vehicle.

RECKLESS DRIVING: 400 block of North Fredonia. Suspect was stopped for running a red light and was issued a citation. Suspect became irate and spun off at a high rate of speed, driving recklessly. Officers stopped him a second time and arrested him. Tonuelo Sims was arrested.

IDENTITY THEFT: 400 block of North Fredonia. Two known suspects used complainant's identity without permission to buy a satellite dish.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 1000 block of Ferguson Street. Unknown actor stole a lamp and nightstand from residence. No forced entry was noted.
