Lufkin Police Report - 06/01/07

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1400 block of Tulane.  A known suspect threw several items off a second story balcony Thursday night in a disturbance.  One of the thrown items damaged the windshield of an uninvolved party's car.   

THEFT:  101 Timberland (Church's Chicken).  The outside speaker at a restaurant's drive-thru window was stolen sometime Wednesday night.

THEFT:  4601 S Medford (Schlotzsky's).   The outside speaker at a restaurant's drive-thru window was stolen sometime Wednesday night.   

BURGLARY:  3900 block of North Medford.  A video game and a tool set were stolen in a vehicle burglary that occurred over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.    

THEFT:  203 Chestnut(Lufkin BBQ).   The outside speaker at a restaurant's drive-thru window was stolen sometime Wednesday night.     

THEFT:  800 block of Timberland.  A woman was caught shoplifting a shirt and skirt Thursday afternoon.  20 year old Kendra Hooper was apprehended inside the store and ticketed for Class C Theft.    

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  306 Timberland.  Seven new cars were keyed on the Nissan dealership car lot sometime Wednesday night.

THEFT:  800 block of Medford.  A known suspect failed to pay rental fees on a vehicle.

THEFT:  500 block of Denman.  A man reported paying money up front to a contractor in early April to build a house.  The man reported that the company hasn't done any work for the money paid.
