Nacogdoches Police Report - 06/01/07

FORGERY: 1030 North University Drive. Unknown person cashed a counterfeit check at Brookshire Brothers.

THEFT: 3400 block of east main. Complainant reported the theft of a checkbook from a closed account.

ASSAULT: 2900 block of EJ Campbell. Complainant reported being assaulted by her boyfriend during an argument. No injuries and warrant was requested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1800 block of Starr avenue. An unknown suspect threw a brick at a vehicle parked on the side of the road causing damage.

THEFT: 3400 block of Old Tyler Road. 120 feet of copper wire was reported stolen from a cell phone tower.

FAIL TO STOP AND RENDER AID: 900 block of North Mound Street. Complainant reported that his vehicle was struck by a blue vehicle. The vehicle then fled southbound on Mound Street.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 800 block of West Cox Street. Upon initiating a traffic stop, officer observed the passenger drop an item in the roadway. It was recovered and found to be a  controlled substance. Kevin Gill was arrested.

MISSING PERSON: 600 block of South Fredonia.  Complainant reported that a 16 year old female was missing from the residence. The missing person then contacted the complainant by telephone and informed the complainant that she was ok.
