Lufkin Police Report - 06/07/07

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION:  200 block of Chambers.  A home was burglarized Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning.  A satellite receiver and some jewelry were stolen.      

HARASSMENT:  2300 block of Northwood.  A woman reported that her ex-husband threatened her life during a telephone conversation.  

ASSAULT:  2400 block of East Denman.  A woman reported that she was assaulted by three suspects during an argument Wednesday night.  The victim had a scraped elbow.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  4600 South Medford.  An IPOD was stolen from an unsecured vehicle Wednesday night.

TERRORISTIC THREAT:  500 block of Davis St.  A man reported that he was threatened by another man Wednesday night.  The two had a disagreement over the sale of a car.   

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING:  3600 block of South Medford.  A man reported that his name and information was placed on two bogus checks that were forged and passed on his account. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  4500 block of South Medford.  A woman reported that her car door was dented in an unknown manner while she was shopping Wednesday.

HARASSMENT:  400 block of Montrose.  A woman reported that receiving threats by telephone by a known suspect. 

HARASSMENT:  700 block of Gaslight Blvd.  A woman reported receiving numerous harassing phone calls from a known suspect after the suspect had been told to stop calling the victim.

BURGLARY:  1300 block of Lakeview.  The front glass door to a business was broken out sometime Tuesday night in an apparent burglary attempt.  Nothing was taken.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  300 East Shepherd St.  Two hoes were stolen from the bed of a city-owned pickup parked at city hall Tuesday night.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING:  3500 block of South Medford Dr.  A bogus check was passed at a store in March.  The check had a fake Louisiana address and was written on a non-existent account.

THEFT:  Angelina.  A Lone Star card was stolen from a woman's purse while she was at a garage sale Sunday.           

BURGLARY:  700 block of Trenton:  The door to a storage building was pried on and door knob damaged in an attempted burglary Tuesday or Wednesday.
