Lufkin Police Report - 06/08/07

ASSAULT:  1600 block of Keltys.  A woman reported that her ex-husband shoved her to the ground during an argument Thursday evening.

THEFT:  900 block of South John Redditt.  A man stole a 30 pack of beer from a convenience store early Friday morning.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  100 North John Redditt.  A backpack containing an IPOD was stolen from a vehicle Thursday evening.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  300 block of Church St.  A wall was damaged during a fight between two men early Friday morning. The homeowner wants to file charges on the man who started the fight for damaging her home.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  800 block of Clark St.  A man reported that someone let the air out of his motorcycle tires early Friday morning.  He suspects his ex-girlfriend.

THEFT:   600 block of RAGUET.  A man walked out a store without paying for the 30 pack of beer he was carrying Thursday evening.

RETALIATION:  200 block of East Lufkin Ave. A juvenile threatened juvenile probation officers Thursday morning while leaving a hearing at the courthouse.  The juvenile was in custody at the time of the threats and additional charges may be filed.

TERRORISTIC THREAT:  900 East Denman Ave.  A juvenile probation worker reported that she was threatened by a probationer upon returning from a field trip.  A juvenile probation officer was present and witnessed the threats and took the juvenile into custody.  The juvenile suspect was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.

DRUG ACTIVITY:  300 block of Church.  A known suspect is reported to have provided prescription medication to several minors at a party Wednesday night.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  500 block of Mchale.  A pickup was egged Wednesday night.
