Lufkin Police Report - 06/11/07

ASSAULT:  700 block of Culverhouse St.  A man reported that he was attacked by a known female suspect late Sunday night. The man sustained a cut elbow during an altercation with the woman.

VIOLATIONS OF TATTOO:  100 block of Booker.  A legal guardian reported that her 15 year old granddaughter had been taken to get a tattoo by the child's non-custodial mother.  The guardian wanted to file charges.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  300 block of West Frank.  A car stereo was stolen in a vehicle burglary sometime Saturday night.

FRAUD:  400 block of North Timberland.  A woman's purse was stolen in a vehicle burglary Saturday morning and the victim's credit card was used later that day at a local restaurant.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:  300 block of North Timberland.  A man reported he was hit in the back of the head with a beer bottle while in the restroom at a nightclub Saturday night.  The man said he didn't know the man who hit him.  Some time later the victim fought with the same suspect outside and sustained another injury to his face in a fight outside the club.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION:  2400 block of  Minnie Lou.  A residence was burglarized and furniture items were stolen early Sunday morning.

ASSAULT:  700 block of Lazy Oaks.  A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her in the back of the head with his hand during an argument Sunday night.  The woman had no visible injury.
