Nacogdoches Police Report - 06/11/07

THEFT: 900 block of Laurel Lane. A husky chainsaw was reported stolen from complainant's garage.

ASSAULT-CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 600 block of South Fredonia. Complainant reported that a known suspect hit him in the head and slashed his tires on his vehicle. Officers located and arrested the suspect. Eric Murphy was arrested.

ASSAULT-CRIMINAL MISCHIEF (NO CHARGES): 2800 block of Pearl. The victim was shoved by a suspect. The suspect then punched a hole in the wall. No one wished to press charges.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 4200 block of Ne Stallings Drive. Complainant reported that un unknown suspect had scratched obscenities in the paint of a vehicle.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 700 block of Lane Drive. A known suspect forced his way onto an ex-girlfriend's home and assaulted her by cutting her with a knife (stitches required). Suspect fled the scene. Warrant requested.

DWI: 3400 block of South Street. Officers received a call of a suspect asleep behind the wheel at a traffic light. Suspect was contacted and thought to be intoxicated. Augustin Ramon was arrested.

RACING: 2100 block of North Street. Officer observed two vehicles southbound on north street in a contest of speed. Both vehicles were stopped and the drivers arrested. Jonathan Young and Monny Kouy were arrested.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 200 block of East Pilar. Suspect was contacted in a parking lot and found to be intoxicated. He was found to be in possession of suspected Xanex pills. Jimme Langston, iii was arrested.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 3100 block of Austinwood.  Complainant reported that his 2001 white Nissan vehicle had been taken without his consent.

ASSAULT: 4200 BLOCK OF NE STALLINGS DRIVE. Officers were called to a disturbance. Two roomates had assaulted each other during the disturbance.  Tarah Peace and Angelia Souder Were arrested.

DEATH OF A PERSON: 100 block of West Seale Street. A 24 year old white male was found deceased in his apartment by a friend. An autopsy has been ordered; no obvious signs of foul play. Official ruling on cause of death will be made by JP after test results are in.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 800 block of Jordan Street. Unknown suspects entered the apartment and caused water from the bathroom to flood the apartment.

ASSAULT: 600 block of Harris Street. Complainant reported that his brother hit him in the mouth. No charges were filed.

FAILURE TO ID: 2800 block of South Street. Officer contacted suspect on a traffic stop. Suspect gave a false name. Once identified, the suspect was found to have outstanding warrants. Tricina Elaine Duran was arrested.

THEFT: 200 block of North Fredonia. Complainant reported the theft of twelve Xanax tablets from a prescription bottle.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 2506 South Street(Surplus Warehouse). Officers were called to a burglary in progress. The building had been entered forcibly and no suspect was located. A safe containing an undetermined amount of cash was taken.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 5200 block of Northway. Complainant reported a mirror on a parked vehicle damaged overnight.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 900 block of Ruby Street. Complainant reported a green ford explorer stolen during the night. The vehicle was later recovered on lone star road.

ROBBERY: 400 block of Pearl Street. Complainant reported that he was assaulted by two black male suspects and one Hispanic male suspect while walking. Suspects stole complainant's wallet which contained a small amount of cash.

THEFT: 800 block of North Street. Complainant reported the theft of three computers over the last month. Complainant has a possible suspect-investigation underway.

HIT AND RUN: 2000 block of North Street. Officers responded to a hit and run accident. The suspect vehicle was located and a 16 year old male juvenile was arrested.

DWI-POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. Officer stopped vehicle on traffic charge and the driver was suspect of being intoxicated. The suspect was also in possession of suspected marijuana. Randall Demarest was arrested.

ASSAULT: 1101 Shawnee Street. Officers were dispatched to a fight in progress. Complainant reported being assaulted by an unknown suspect/ victim received a laceration below the eye with  an unknown object.

EVADING ARREST-UNLAWFUL CARRYING OF A WEAPON-THEFT OF A FIREARM-UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM: 1600 block of Cleaver Street. Officers were called to a large disturbance at metro on Shawnee Street. Officers saw the suspect vehicle leave fled officers and went to a house on Cleaver Street. Officers contacted the driver and occupant and recovered a shotgun from the front seat. The passenger, Chadell Williams, was found to have a stolen pistol in his pocket. The driver, Otis Daniels, was arrested along with the passenger.

FORGERY: 300 block of Perry Drive. Complainant reported that two known suspects had stolen checks and written and cashed them without permission.

THEFT: 3200 block of North Street. A known suspect reportedly stole cash from the victim. A warrant has been requested.

ASSAULT-UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT: 3200 block of Pearl. Complainant was assaulted his wife and locked all of the doors preventing her from leaving. Complainant eventually snuck out a window and summonsed help. Anthony Goddard was arrested.
