Monday afternoon Nacogdoches police seized about 57 pounds of cocaine. Investigators say it has a street value of a half a million dollars. The stop was made on Northwest Stallings Drive. Officer Stephen Godfrey noticed two children were 'not' using seatbelts. Following the stop police called in a drug dog which confirmed their suspicions. The packaged cocaine was found in a hidden compartment under the back seat of the SUV. Police have a man and a woman from Sebastian in custody. The children, age ten and three, are now with child protective services.
