Nacogdoches Police Report - 06/13/07

FORGERY: 4700 block of South Street. Complainant reported that a known suspect had forged several checks without permission.

ASSAULT: 100 block of Lynn Street. Complainant reported that known male suspect has threatened her several times over the past months and this week physically slapped her . Complainant wishes to file charges and a warrant has been requested.

THEFT: 1800 block of Old Tyler Road. A known suspect reportedly stole a headset from a computer.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 100 block of North Mound. Complainant advised that she dropped her wallet and an unknown suspect picked it up and used credit cards without permission.

THEFT: 900 block of First Street. Complainant reported that two known suspects took his wallet after he had passed out from drinking.

DEATH OF A PERSON: 200 block of North Church Street. A 81 year old male was found deceased in his home. No apparent signs of foul play, deceased suffering from cancer.

HIT AND RUN: 3600 block of North Street. Unknown vehicle struck complainant's parked vehicle and left the scene.

TAMPERING WITH A GOVERNMENTAL DOCUMENT: 300 block of Ellington Street. Suspect gave a false name to officers who were investigating a disturbance. Suspect also gave false information on a governmental document. Brittany Walker was arrested.

DEATH OF A PERSON: 2200 block of Beverly Street. 60 year old female with health problems found deceased in residence by family. No apparent signs of foul play.

OVERDOSE: 5700 block of North Street. Victim reportedly took a large amount of prescription medication. Victim taken to a hospital and admitted.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 3800 block of North Street. Officers responded to a call of a drunk person. Ashton Coston was found passed out. Officers located suspected marijuana and valium on his person.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 200 block of West Austin. A known suspect got into an argument with a female victim. The suspect then produced a pistol and shot the victim in the arm. The victim was treated at a local hospital and the suspect fled the scene. Warrant requested.

THEFT: 500 block of Tangleberry. Approximately 2 months ago, a carpet cleaning machine was stolen off a front porch.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 3000 Westward. Two females got into an argument. One produced a knife and cut the other on the hand. Minor injuries and no one wished to file charges.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 1500 block of East Starr. Complainant was retrieving some items from his ex-girlfriend's home. A 10 year old male struck him over the head with a baseball bat. Several  stitches were taken in the wound, complainant refused to file charges.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-UNLAWFUL CARRYING A WEAPON. 1500 block of Sw Stallings Drive. Officer stopped a vehicle for traffic. Officer noted that the driver had a pistol under his leg. Max mazy was arrested for unlawful carrying a weapon.officers also located a quantity of suspected marijuana in the vehicle. A passenger, Sandra Deacon and the driver were charged with possession of marijuana.

RESISTING ARREST-ASSAULT: 300 block of Ferndale. Suspect had assaulted a female victim (no injuries). Officers attempted to arrest the suspect and he resisted. David Hinton was arrested.
