Lufkin Police Report - 06/19/07

THEFT:  2000 block of South First St.  Cash was stolen from a restaurant's business office Monday night.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:  2200 block of Old Mill Rd.  A woman reported that her brother threatened her life and pointed a handgun at her Monday night.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:  700 block of Hosea Dolphus Sr.  A woman reported that her grandson broke her answering machine Monday night in a fit of anger over her telling it was time for him to leave.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:  100 block of Percy Simond Av.  A woman reported that her boyfriend dragged her into an apartment by her hair and hit her in the head when she tried to break up with him Monday night. The woman had no visible injuries.

ASSAULT:  400 block of Lazy Oaks St.  A woman reported that she was shoved down and hit and kicked by two known suspects during a disturbance at a mutual friend's apartment Saturday morning.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  2100  Holly St.  A glass door was shot out with what appeared to be a BB gun sometime Monday afternoon.     

HARASSMENT:  400 block of Lazy Oaks St.  Victim reported ongoing telephone harassment from a known suspect even after the suspect has been told repeatedly to stop calling.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING:  500 block of South Timberland Drive A woman reported that she received a forged check from a known suspect. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  3500 block of North John Redditt.  Unauthorized cable access was discovered at an apartment Monday by a cable company employee.

THEFT:  300 block of Bending Oak St.  Complainant reported a necklace stolen from her residence approximately 10 days ago.
