Restaurant Report - Lufkin - 06/21/07

Thompson's Grill in Lufkin got a whopping 12 demerits because two prep coolers were at the wrong temperature and a ceiling vent was dirty. Towels were also needed in the restrooms.

The Dairy Queen in Huntington got ten demerits; the reason: there were boxes of food on the floor in the freezer, the shelves in the storage area were dirty and so was the floor behind the stove. The health inspector also found rodent droppings in the storage area.

Church's Chicken in Lufkin also got ten demerits for needing food handler certificates and there were flies in the restaurant.

Congratulations to Cherry's Deli and Paw Paw's Snack Shack in Angelina County for getting a perfect score of zero demerits.
