Nacogdoches Police Report - 06/26/07

FORGERY: 1529 North University Drive. Suspect was attempting to cash a forged check in the drive thru of commercial bank. Sergio Diaz was arrested.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS (NO CHARGES): 700 block of South Street. A known suspect entered a locked building without permission. Complainant did not wish to file.

DWLI: 300 block of West Main Street. Vehicle was stopped for speeding. The driver was contacted and a computer check revealed a suspended drivers license. Gayla Garner was arrested.

HIT AND RUN: 200 block of Old Tyler Road. Complainant's vehicle alarm was activated and complainant found that unknown suspects had struck his parked vehicle and left the scene.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION-ASSAULT: Suspect broke a window on his girlfriend's home and entered. He then physically assaulted her (no serious injury). Suspect fled on foot when officers arrived. He was located and arrested in a wooded area. David Hinton was arrested.
