AGGRAVATED ROBBERY: 4400 block of South First St. A male suspect robbed Comfort Suites at gunpoint around 10:25p.m. Tuesday night. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and a mask. The suspect was armed with a handgun that he pointed at the motel clerk. The suspect fled on foot towards S. First St. with an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk was not injured.
FAILURE TO ID: 1400 block of Avalon. A man involved in a disturbance Tuesday evening was found after the fact to have given police officers false information about his identity. A warrant has been requested.
HARASSMENT: 100 block of Palmetto. A woman reported that a known suspect has been repeatedly calling her on the phone and cursing, screaming and threatening to come beat the complainant up.
FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 400 block of TIMBERLAND ST An unknown customer paid for a food order with a counterfeit $100 bill Tuesday night.
THEFT: 500 block of Barclay: A complainant reported that a houseguest has been stealing various items for some time and most recently took some jewelry from the complainant. Complainant wishes to file charges.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 600 block of Conn. A residence was broken into Tuesday afternoon and some cash and dozens of pieces of jewelry were stolen.
THEFT: 1000 block of John Redditt. A store clerk reported that a man walked out of the store without paying for a 20 pack of beer Monday night.
ASSAULT/SEXUAL/RAPE: 1200 block of West Frank. A 16 year old girl is pregnant and named a 19 year old male as the father of the unborn child.
HARASSMENT: 600 block of Pecan St A woman reported receiving threatening text messages from a known suspect Tuesday.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 100 block of North First St. Two windows were broken out with what is believed to be some type blunt object and six more were shot with what appears to be a BB gun sometime Monday night. No suspects.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 3000 block of South First. A woman's purse was stolen in a vehicle burglary Monday night.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 600 block of August Ln. Complainant reported damage to the paint of his vehicle that occurred within the past five days. Minor scratches and a small dent were visible. No suspects.
HARASSMENT: 1200 block of Wildbriar St. A woman reported telephone harassment from a collection company. The woman stated she does not owe the debt and has never bought anything from the company in question. She reports they keep calling even after being told they have the wrong person.
