Nacogdoches Police Report - 07/09/07

ASSAULT-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 5000 block of East Main. Officers were called to a disturbance and found the suspect being held for officers. Investigation revealed that the suspect had assaulted two other individuals and caused minor injuries. Officers also located a quantity of suspected crack cocaine on the suspect. Lorenzo Sexton was arrested.

ASSAULT: 100 block of Door Creek. Complainant reported that a boyfriend had slapped her in the face. No injuries-complainant did not wish to file charges.

THEFT: 800 block of Sweetgum. Complainant reported that a known suspect had removed $150.00 from a purse. Warrant requested.

ASSAULT: 4100 block of North Street. Complainant reported that a known suspect had pulled her from a parked vehicle causing her to fall down. No injuries and complainant did not wish to file charges.

DWI: 2800 block of Pearl Street. Officers were called to a major accident and contacted the driver of the vehicle involved. Officers suspected the driver of being intoxicated. William Wright was arrested.

HARASSMENT: 1300 block of Orton Street. Complainant reported that a known suspect was calling using profanity. Complainant did not wish to file; suspect warned to stop calling.

ASSAULT: 400 block of North Fredonia. Complainant reported that he was walking on North Fredonia when a blue Chevy pickup passed and a suspect threw a beer bottle at him, striking him in the face. Complainant suffered a laceration. Unknown suspect.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 1101 South Shawnee Street. Officers were called to a disturbance at the metro. It was determined that Krystal Carter had assaulted another female with a knife, causing a laceration on the hand of the victim. Carter was arrested. Also, Annette Carter had chased another victim, threatening her with a knife. Annette Carter was arrested also.

DWI: 100 block of Parker Road. Officers were called to a major accident involving a vehicle and a utility pole. The driver, Jimmy Phillips, was contacted and found to be intoxicated. He was arrested.

FAIL TO STOP AND RENDER AID: North Street At Indistrial Drive. Officers were called to an accident where two bicyclists were struck by a blue Chevrolet pickup that left the scene. The bicyclists suffered non-life threatening injuries.

THEFT: 3800 block of South Street. Complainant reported the theft of a Motorola Razor cell phone from a purse.

ASSAULT: 1000 block of Douglass Road. A known suspect struck another with a fist about the head. No visible injuries and no charges were filed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1000 block of East Main. Complainant reported that unknown persons had broken a window out of a building.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 1500 block of Fields Street. Suspect was contacted about an illegally parked vehicle. Suspect attempted to place a quantity of suspected crack cocaine inside the vehicle. Marcus pleasant was arrested.

THEFT: 600 block of Muckleroy. Complainant reported the theft of a Portland lawn mower from a back yard.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 200 block of East Lakewood. Complainant reported the theft of money from inside his parked vehicle.

BURGLARY OF A VEHCILE: 4810 North Street. Unknown suspect entered an unsecured vehicle and removed a JVC CD player.
