Texas Forestry Museum Welcomes Its New Leader

There's a new leader at the Texas Forestry Museum in Lufkin. Ginger Trotter replaces retiring museum director, Carol Riggs, after more than 20 years of service.

Trotter has worked in fine art galleries in Dallas and once owned an art gallery and frame shop.

The Texas Forestry Museum is the only one of its kind in the state. It preserves the legacy of the people, places and products of Texas forests.
