AGGRAVATED ROBBERY; Lake Nacogdoches West Park. Officers are currently investigating an aggravated robbery that was reported at 5:20 am at the west park of Lake Nacogdoches. Two victims were fishing from the pier when they were approached by two white male suspects. One of the suspects produced a handgun and ordered the victims to empty their pockets. Once the suspects had possession of their wallets and watches, the suspects ordered the victims to jump into the lake, which they did. The suspects fled in a new model black Chevrolet 4 door pickup with 4 wheel drive with oversized tires. One suspect is described as being 5'7" tall, light complexion and unshaven. The other suspect is described as 5'10" tall, thin build, and clean shaven.
ASSAULT: 700 block of Lane Drive. A suspect pushed a female victim down during an argument. No injuries. Felipe Cruz was arrested.
ASSAULT: 2800 block of Pearl Street. A suspect pushed the victim down during a disturbance. No injuries, and complainant does not wish to file charges.
DWI-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. Officers were almost struck by a vehicle driving recklessly. Officers stopped the driver, Matthew Hardy, and suspected him of being intoxicated. Officers also located a quantity of suspected powder cocaine and suspected marijuana in the vehicle. Hardy was arrested.
EVADING ARREST (5 ARRESTS) EJ Campbell Blvd. Officers responded to a large disturbance involving a number of persons. Officers arrived to a large crowd with several suspects running from officers. Arrested for evading arrest were: Savalas Deckard, Tychaikov Pleasant, Jameron Wynn, Anthony Watts, Montrell Lee
CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Eastwood Terrace. During the above investigation, officers were told by a resident that an unknown suspect was hiding in an apartment without permission. Officers located Darvis Thorn inside and arrested him.
POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY: Lenwood Street. Officers located a juvenile riding a stolen bicycle. The bike was recovered and the juvenile released to parents.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 4800 block of North Street. An unsecured vehicle had the stereo removed from the dash.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 2700 block of Center Highway. Complainant's building was entered and 27 auto tires were stolen.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 2500 block of Saratoga. Suspects broke the back glass out of a vehicle and stole the speakers and an amplifier.
RESISTING ARREST, SEARCH, OR TRANSPORTATION: 600 block of Russell. Officers responded to a welfare concern of children. Upon arrival, the suspect became very hostile and resisted search, arrest, and transport. Tevera Pimpson was arrested, child protective services were notified for children.
