Lufkin Police Report - 07/13/07

THEFT:  800 block of Medford.  A CB radio and a flat screen TV were stolen from a truck Thursday night.     

ASSAULT:   100 block of Champions.  A woman reported she was attacked by several subjects when she got out of her car at her apartment just after midnight Friday.  The woman said a neighbor she's been having problems with and several subjects shoved her down and hit her numerous times.  The victim had no visible injuries.

ASSAULT/SEXUAL/RAPE:  A woman reported that she was sexually assaulted by a known suspect early Friday morning.   The woman later declined to file charges.

THEFT:   2100 block of South Chestnut.  A cedar rocking chair was stolen from the front porch of a residence sometime Thursday.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING:  1500 block of East Denman.  A woman reported burglary of a self-storage unit that had already occurred.  Numerous items including a TV, computer, BBQ pit, nightstand and bicycle were stolen.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1000 block of Williams St.  A window was broken by unknown means on a residence sometime during the day Thursday.  

THEFT:   4200 block of South Medford Dr.  A store employee was found to have been stealing money on three occasions over the past month.   

THEFT:  1400 Tulane.  A man reported that someone broke into his apartment sometime Monday and stole a laptop computer and several boxes of ammunition.

THEFT:  1200 block of East Lufkin Av.  A woman reported that accidentally she left her credit card on the counter at a store on June 30 and learned that several unauthorized purchases have been made with the card after she cancelled it.

BURGLARY:  600 block of Raguet.  The glass front door of a day care center was broken out sometime Wednesday night. Nothing was reported stolen from the business.
