Lufkin Police Report - 07/19/07

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  100 block of North Chestnut.  A brick was thrown through the glass door of a business Wednesday night.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  4600 block of South Medford Dr.  A man reported that he caught several Hispanic males breaking into his car as he got off work just before 1am Thursday.  One of the suspects shot at the victim with a BB gun as they fled.  The victim was not injured and nothing was missing from his vehicle.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE:  1200 block of West Frank.  A car was broken into and the radio stolen sometime Wednesday evening.         

CRIMINAL TRESPASS:  300 block of Humason.  A known suspect went to a residence Wednesday afternoon where he has previously been warned of trespassing.     

THEFT:  2500 block of Daniel Mccall.  A woman reported that cash was stolen from her purse while she was working in a hair salon Wednesday.

THEFT:  400 block of Timberland.  A business reported that several unauthorized charges were made on their account over the past several days. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  400 block of Banks.  An unknown suspect broke into a residence sometime during the past three days and defecated on the floor.  Nothing was reported missing in the break-in.

FORGERY OF A COUNTERFEITING: 1400 California.  A woman reported that her final paycheck was mailed to her former residence and her former roommate forged the check and cashed it.

BURGLARY:  1900 block of Montclair.  A garage door opener was stolen from a car sometime Tuesday night. 

ASSAULT:  1600 block of East Denman.  A man reported that he was assaulted by a co-worker Tuesday afternoon.  The victim said the coworker grabbed him by the neck.  The victim had no visible injuries.
