It took Lufkin's Ralph Thomas some time to make up his mind, but he's happy with his decision. Thomas will attend Oklahoma State. Thomas had signed with Oklahoma State to play baseball before the major league draft in April. But after being drafted by the Dodgers, Thomas wanted to weigh his options. He could sign a minor league contract with the Dodgers, play at OSU or play at San Jac Junior College.
Thomas' first priority is baseball, but he will also give football a shot. He will walk on with the football team and try to play both sports for the Cowboys. Thomas would join former Lufkin football teammate Dez Bryant.
