Teens Sentenced to Prison in Murder Case

Two Lufkin teenagers involved in the killing of a man last year have both entered guilty pleas.   A judge sentenced Detrick Moore to 15 years in prison for aggravated robbery.

Kendal Adams got a 10-year sentence for conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with evidence.

Back in September, the teens got into a fight with Tony Hutson and his brother near Ellis Street. Adams and Moore then got into a car and fired a shot at Hutson, killing him.

Last January, a 16-year-old boy was also sentenced in the murder. He got a 30-year prison sentence.
