Mattel, Inc. officials say the toys may pose choking risks and lead poisoning hazards.workers at One East Texas store say they have had to recall several toys within the past several weeks. Among the items recalled were several toys from the Dora the Explorer line and the Elmo line. Experts tell us it's important for employees and consumers to watch out for recalled items.
"It's important to get the product off the counter so no more customers buy the merchandise and to get the information out on the street that they do have a recall out on the merchandise. It is a safety concern. We don't want children to swallow small stuff and get hurt," said Lufkin Kmart Assistant Manager Jimmy Young.
