Warrant Sweep Will Target 'Class C' Offenders

If you have unpaid warrants, you only have a week to take care of them or risk getting arrested. The Lufkin Police department is conducting a Warrant Sweep next Friday.

If you have outstanding 'Class C' warrants, you could get arrested at home or on the job, unless you pay off your warrants first. 'Class C' crimes include theft under $50, simple assault, animal control violations and other offenses.

If you have outstanding warrants, contact the Municipal Court in Lufkin at (936) 633-0315 or the City Marshal at (936) 630-0579 before September 21st to pay your fine or make payment arrangements.
