In The Kitchen: Near Death By Chocolate Cake

Prep. Time: 25 minutes; Cook Time: 40 minutes plus cooling time.

18.25 oz. package chocolate cake mix
1 quart (4 cups)fat-free milk
2 pkgs (4-serving size) sugar-free instant chocolate pudding mix
12-oz. container fat-free frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup strong coffee
1 cup miniature chocolate chips

  Prepare and bake the cake according to the package directions, using a 13X9 baking pan.  Cool completely and cut cake into bite-sized cubes.  Place half the cake in a 13X9 pan.  Drizzle with 1/4 cup of coffee.  In a large bowl, combine the milk and the pudding.  Beat with a wire whisk or electric mixer.
  Pour half of the pudding over the cake.  Top with half of the whipped topping and half of the chocolate chips.  Repeat with the rest of the cake, coffee, pudding, whipped topping and chocolate chips.
  Cover pan and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
