A Civil War Reenactment is scheduled for this weekend, October 19th, 20th and 21st.  The battlefield is located on Highway 110 North about twelve miles from Tyler's loop 323.  The reenactment is staged by the Smith County Historical Society to raise money for the upkeep of Camp Ford and the museum at Tyler's Carnegie Library, as well as, to share our area's history.  As many as 200 infantry, 75 calvary and five cannons will take part in the reenactment.  Tickets are five dollars a carload at the gate.
