Lufkin Police Report - 10/29/07

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1600 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST.  An unknown person attempted to pry open an ATM machine during the very early morning hours Monday.  The machine sustained over $1500 worth of damage.   

BURGLARY/HABITATION:  100 BLOCK OF SHADY BEND.  Complainant reported that several prescription medications were stolen from his residence Sunday night. 

ASSAULT:  100 BLOCK OF WOODHAVEN.   A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her with his fists and a chair during a disturbance Sunday evening.  The woman had visible swelling and abrasions on her side and arm.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  300 BLOCK OF HOUSE ST.   Complainant reported that someone poured sugar into the gas tanks of two vehicles at his home sometime Sunday.

BURGLARY/BUILDING:  1300 BLOCK OF WILSON ST.  Unknown persons broke into a business over the weekend and stole two computers, two briefcases, two radios and a small amount of cash.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE:  1100 BLOCK OF TOM TEMPLE BL.  Complainant reported that a checkbook was stolen from his vehicle early Sunday morning.  The man saw two males outside his garage and checked his vehicle and noted the checkbook missing.
