After getting the weekend off, Lufkin's Dez Bryant returned to Stillwater this week. The Oklahoma State freshman receiver is starting to fit in nicely with the Cowboys. Bryant scored two touchdown's in his last game. OSU came back to beat Kansas State, and are in the mix for the Big XII championship. Bryant is gaining more confidence with every catch.
"I feel like it's high school all over again," Bryant says. "If the ball's in the air, it's mine."
This week Bryant and the Cowboys host Texas. OSU can stay in a first place tie with Oklahoma if they handle the Longhorns. Bryant says the Cowboys are on a roll. Despite their one loss to Texas A&M, OSU is the team to beat.
"I talk some smack to Jorvorskie (Lane) and Alton (Dixon)," Bryant says of his former Lufkin teammates. "Oklahoma State is taking it all the way. We're gonna be playing for the Big XII title."
