Members of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church walked through north Lufkin today. The memory walk was their way of honoring past church members who made such an impact on those around them. After the walkers made their route they gathered at Jones Park for fun and eating. Their pastor says they just never want to forget those who were so close to their hearts. "It's important to remember those who have gone on before you and the contribution that they made to your church and family as well as the contribution they made to you community and also to your city," Mack Page said. They hope that the walk shows the younger generation the ability you have to impact the lives of those around you.
