A local pastor was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident this afternoon. DPS troopers say that Jerry Mashburn, 57, of Lufkin was driving north on HWY 59 near Seven Oaks just before four this afternoon. Troopers aren't sure what happened but say that Mashburn left the road and flipped his motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at a Livingston hospital. Mashburn was the pastor at Lufkin Family Worship Center.
