Nacogdoches Police Report - 11/08/07

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 3000 BLOCK OF NORTH PECAN. Complainant reported that unknown suspects removed a CD player from his truck over the past two weeks.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 1300 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. Complainant reported leaving a vehicle for repairs at a business over 9 months ago. Now the vehicle is missing and the whereabouts are unknown.

FOUND PROPERTY: 1200 BLOCK OF VIRGINIA AVENUE. A credit card was found behind Brookshire's on South Street. The card was seized and placed into evidence for safekeeping.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 3400 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant's unsecured vehicle was entered and a DVD player, two screens, and a stereo receiver were stolen.

RECOVERED NARCOTICS: 3100 BLOCK OF EJ CAMPBELL. Officers located a baggie containing suspected marijuana under a street lamp.

DEATH OF A PERSON: 1500 BLOCK OF CLEAVER STREET. A 31 year old man with health problems was found deceased by several family members. No obvious signs of foul play.

ASSAULT: 5200 BLOCK OF NORTHWAY. Complainant reported that a known person had threatened him during a verbal discussion over domestic issues.

POSSESSION OF  MARIJUANA: 1600 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers were called of a possible narcotics transaction that had just occurred. Officers contacted a suspect and located a quantity of suspected marijuana on his person. Lakeith Williams was arrested.
