What would you call a group of men and women who dress up in costumes and jump into a barrel of water filled with ice?
Some would call them crazy, but tonight they're being called good sports and our own Conley Isom is among them. Who are they? They're the volunteers who participated in tonight's Polar Plunge, a fundraiser to benefit Junior Achievement.
After a little prodding from the crowd, Conley finally gathered his nerves and took the plunge. There were a few tense moments before he emerged from beneath the man-made iceberg. The event is a big fundraiser for the organization that devotes much of their time to economic education and work force preparation.
