Kids in the Central school district are looking forward to big changes. There are much needed new facilities according to school officials. And for tax payers, this means less than $90 a year for the average house.
This is big news since it's been 27-years that a bond has been passed.
Central Superintendent Allen Garner said it had been quite a while. In fact, two have failed. But they are excited about the results of this one.
They've already been working on plans for the new facility, that will just be down the road from the school. You will see junior high and high school renovations and a new primary and elementary.
Karen Shumaker, the Central primary principal said she's been there for 26-years and she has seen the students outgrow the school.
It means a lot to these educators that the bond passed. It shows that the community values education.
