A man believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s led several law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase Monday night.
Authorities say the man was driving recklessly in Sabine County. He then drove through Nacogdoches, where authorities received numerous phone calls that he was forcing other cars off of the road.
He led authorities on a ten minute chase through Angelina County, traveling at speeds of up to a hundred miles an hour. He was driving with three flat tires at one point.
Authorities say he stopped near the Ellen Trout Zoo and took off into the woods on foot, where he was caught in less than a minute.
They also say he appeared to be intoxicated.
