Thanksgiving Feast Feeds Hundreds of Church Members

There was a Thanksgiving celebration in Nacogdoches Monday evening. Several local churches came together to worship, sing, and eat a tasty meal.

The Nacogdoches Ministerial Alliance sponsors the event each year.

After the church service the Sacred Heart Catholic Church gym was packed with the line wrapping around the facility. But it wasn't about who was first in line, it was about churches coming together.

It was a Thanksgiving tradition with turkey, potatoes and of course cranberries. And, of course, there's a lot of hard work that goes into preparing a meal for 500 people.  An early Thanksgiving dinner so that these residents can visit with others from different churches.
