Many stores have brought out the Christmas trees. One local organization is selling them too, but as a fundraiser. The Angelina County 4-H kids have set up shop outside of Tractor Supply. They bring in trees from Palestine and some from Oregon. They do it for fun but also to raise money for scholarships for college. The group has trees ranging from $25 to close to $100. They say when you buy a tree from them you're doing more than just getting a tree, you're sending a kid to college. They are set up in the Tractor Supply parking lot in Lufkin and are open from 10 to 8 Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 on Sunday.
