Nacogdoches Police Report - 11/30/07

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2400 BLOCK OF CENTER HIGHWAY. Complainant reported that his vehicle had been shot with paintballs.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 3200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported that a known suspect had threatened him with bodily injury with a knife. Complainant did not wish to file charges.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 3100 BLOCK OF NORTH PECAN. Officer stopped a vehicle for suspicious activity. Officers located 20 bars of suspected Xanax in the vehicle along with a usable amount of suspected marijuana. Tyrell Williams was arrested.

THEFT: 3400 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN. Complainant reported a laptop computer was stolen from a residence.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1900 BLOCK OF BANITA STREET. Complainant reported that a black polo sweater, a ball cap, and a box of rubber gloves were stolen from inside an unsecured vehicle overnight.

ASSAULT: 4900 BLOCK OF NE STALLINGS DRIVE. Complainant reported that a known suspect assaulted him during a disturbance. No injuries. Warrant requested.

EVADING ARREST: JEFFERIES STREET. Officers attempted to stop a suspect for suspicious activity. The suspect fled on foot into a wooded area. Officers captured the suspect who gave a false name to officers. He was later identified as Joe Dan Channel and was arrested.
