Lufkin Police Report - 12/4/07

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 2900 BLOCK OF BRENTWOOD DR. Complainant reported that his vehicle was broken into Sunday evening and a college textbook was stolen.

BURGLARY: 100 BLOCK OF OAKWOOD. Complainant reported that her home was entered by unknown means Monday and several video game cartridges were stolen.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 100 BLOCK OF EAST LUFKIN. Complainant reported that his son knocked a hole in a wall with his during a disturbance Monday afternoon.  The suspect also reportedly hit his younger sister in with a walking cane.  Dustin R. Roberts, 17, was arrested and charged with Assault.

THEFT/A: 600 BLOCK OF BERRY. Complainant reported that two rings were stolen from her home.  The theft was discovered by the complainant after she had a worker install new flooring in her home.

BURGLARY: 3200 BLOCK OF DANIEL MCCALL. Complainant reported that her car was broken into Sunday night and an IPOD and her wallet were stolen.

THEFT/B: 1900 BLOCK OF WEST FRANK AVENUE. Complainant reported that she left her wallet on the counter at a convenience store Friday night and that when she went back for it the wallet was gone.

BURGLARY: 300 BLOCK OF LAZY OAKS. Complainant reported that a known suspect broke into her home while she was away in early November and stole a DVD player and some clothing items.  The complainant confronted the suspect about the break-in and the suspect reportedly confessed to her that he did it.  Now that the suspect refuses to return the items the complainant wants to file charges.

BURGLARY/BUILDING: 900 BLOCK OF PONDEROSA. A gas heater was stolen from a vacant rental house sometime in late November.

DEBIT CARD ABUSE: 4600 BLOCK OF SOUTH MEDFORD DRIVE. Complainant reported several unauthorized transactions were made on her bank account after her daughter lost her debit card.
