Hundreds of Angels Have Not Been Adopted

by Jessica Cervantez

There are still a couple of hundred angels out that are in need of adoptions.

The deadline is Friday, December 14th to get all of your angels in for Salvation Army's Angel Tree program.

Organizers are concerned because there are still a couple of hundred angels out that have not been adopted, 150 children and 50 adults.

Over the weekend, several church groups picked up angels, but organizers say there are still plenty left at stores like Wal-Mart, Belk and Chick-Fil-A.

Contact the Salvation Army at (936) 634-1234.
