A Nacogdoches County commissioner who was being questioned for reimbursement of an out of town meeting says the situation has been resolved.
Commissioner Reggie Cotton says the bill in question was about $264. He says he paid some and asked the county to reimburse about $174 for a business trip he took.
The auditor's office says the receipt has been approved for payment, the auditor is just waiting for the commissioner's court to put the item back on the agenda. Cotton said it had been tabled at his request.
He said he used the money to meet with speakers and get them lined up for a Juneteenth program.
