Nacogdoches Police Report - 12/13/07

FOUND PROPERTY: 4500 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A bicycle was found abandoned at a business. It was placed in the bike pound.

HARASSMENT: 900 BLOCK OF PEARL STREET. Complainant reported that a known suspect continues to call when told not to do so.

FORGERY: 1000 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. Complainant reported that a known suspect has cashed a government check and then reporting it as stolen.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 4800 BLOCK OF NORTH EAST STALLINGS DRIVE. An office was entered over the night and a small amount of petty cash stolen.

ASSAULT: 600 BLOCK OF LENWOOD DRIVE. Two individuals were walking through Pioneer Park and were approached by several suspects who assaulted them. This turned into a large disturbance involving a number of individuals. The two victims received very minor injuries.

BURGLARY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE: MARTHA DRIVE. Unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and stole the complainant's cell phone and purse.

THEFT: 3900 BLOCK OF SOUTH EAST STALLINGS DRIVE. Complainant reported that unknown suspects had entered his yard and stole a pit bull puppy.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 2800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. During a stop for a traffic violation, a passenger in the vehicle was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and Xanax. William Menzies was arrested.

DWI: 200 BLOCK OF TRAVIS STREET. Officers responded to a traffic accident. One of the drivers, Victor Pena, was suspected of being intoxicated and was arrested.
