Lufkin Police Report - 12/14/07

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 400 BLOCK OF DALE ST. Complainant reported that her car was broken into Thursday night and stereo equipment was stolen.

THEFT: 109 TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that a woman shoplifted some hair care products from a store Wednesday afternoon.

THEFT: 1000 BLOCK OF LINKWOOD STREET. Complainant reported that several pieces of jewelry had been stolen from her residence Wednesday or Thursday.

THEFT OF SERVICE: 4400 S MEDFORD. Complainant reported that four men ate a meal at a restaurant Thursday evening and left the restaurant without paying.

THEFT: 102 NORTH TIMBERLAND DRIVE. Complainant reported that a woman shoplifted a package of hair dye and a toy and left the store without paying Thursday evening.

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 2500 BLOCK OF DANIEL MCCALL. Complainant reported that she was slapped in the face by a known suspect Thursday afternoon.  The suspect was located and said the complainant shoved her first.  No injuries.

THEFT: 2400 BLOCK OF MOSSFIELD. Complainant reported that he purchased some truck parts over the internet and the seller didn't ship the item after being paid.  The seller has received the payment and now re-posted the same items for sale again.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 600 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST STREET. Complainant reported that an unknown person has forged and passed three checks on her account.

BURGLARY: 3700 BLOCK OF CHESTNUT. Costume jewelry and a microwave were reported stolen in a residential burglary that occurred Wednesday or Thursday.

FOUND/MISC. PROPERTY: 900 SOUTH JOHN REDDITT DRIVE. Complainant left a bank bag containing personal papers and some cash at a business and when she returned for it the bag was missing.
