Holiday excitement filled up the Museum of East Texas this afternoon. They offered activities and workshops to get East Texans in the Christmas spirit. Children could make their own tree toppers, the East Texas Timbertones sang Christmas music and children could listen to Christmas stories. And of course Santa came to enjoy the festivities too. The museum says it's just a great way to gear up for the holidays. The museum has family events going on all week. On Wednesday they are having Wassail Wednesday. Thursday families can make popcorn garlands and Friday is Frosty Friday. All the events are from 5 to 8.
