Lufkin Police Report - 12/20/07

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 500 BLOCK OF CAIN. Complainant heard a loud noise in her living room around 2:30 in the morning and found that her two front windows had been broken out by unknown means.

BURGLARY/BUILDING: 800 SOUTH TIMBERLAND DRIVE. Officers responding to an active burglar alarm just after 1a.m. found that a pharmacy had been broken into and some prescription medication stolen.

BURGLARY: 3500 BLOCK OF JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that a known suspect entered her apartment Wednesday and stole a folder containing personal papers and some cash.  The suspect left a message on the complainant's answering machine stating she had the folder.

ACCIDENT/HIT & RUN: 1900 CULVERHOUSE. A man was involved in a minor car accident with a second vehicle and left the scene Saturday afternoon.  The man has been identified and a warrant has been requested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1703 NORTH FIRST. Complainant reported that a man a woman were walking across the railroad tracks nearby and threw rock through her window Wednesday afternoon.

RETALIATION: 300 WHIPPOORWILL. Complainant reported his estranged wife called and threatened his life if he didn't drop charges against her for a previous assault.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 700 GROVE. Complainant reported that a known suspect threatened her during an argument.

THEFT: 200 BLOCK OF WHITEHOUSE. Complainant reported that she has been buying Lone Star cards from a woman who recently sold her one that had no money left on the card.  The matter will be turned over to Dept. of Human Services.

THEFT: 309 SOUTH MEDFORD. A teacher reported that her cell phone was stolen from her desk Tuesday morning.
