Lufkin Police Report - 12/26/07

BURGLARY: 2100 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST STREET. Complainant reported that a briefcase, three cell phones and a woman's purse were stolen from his vehicle Tuesday night.

BURGLARY: 2900 BLOCK OF JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that her home was broken into Christmas day while she was away and a .38 caliber handgun was stolen.

ASSAULT: 1500 BLOCK OF COPELAND. Complainant reported that her boyfriend hit her several times during an argument Tuesday afternoon.  Complainant had no visible injuries.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1100 BLOCK OF DENMAN. Complainant reported that a panhandler hit his truck windshield with a fist and broke it after the complainant wouldn't give him money Tuesday afternoon.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: 100 BLOCK OF MOSS STREET. Adult sisters both reported that they were assaulted by the other Tuesday afternoon during a family disturbance.  One woman had broken glasses and red marks on her face and chest.  The other woman had a small scratch on her face.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 3500 BLOCK OF JOHN REDDITT DRIVE. Complainant reported that someone cut all four of the tires on her car sometime Christmas morning.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE: 100 BLOCK OF HOPKINS STREET. Complainant reported that her tan 2000 Pontiac Sunfire was stolen from her driveway sometime Monday night.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE: 100 BLOCK OF BROADDUS STREET. Complainant reported that her ex-boyfriend had stolen her car Sunday and wrecked it.

BURGLARY: 1100 BLOCK OF BRENDA. Complainant reported that two of the family's vehicles had been entered sometime Tuesday night and a woman's purse was stolen.  Papers had been moved around in the second vehicle but nothing was noted missing at the time of the report.

THEFT/A: 100 BLOCK OF OAKWOOD. Complainant reported that her home was burglarized during the day Tuesday and a laptop computer and an inexpensive ring were stolen.
