Nacogdoches Police Report - 1/2/08

DWI: 100 BLOCK OF PEARL. Suspect vehicle almost caused an accident on Pearl Street. Vehicle was located and stopped. The driver was contacted and was suspected of being intoxicated. Gregory Briscoe was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 4200 BLOCK OF NE STALLINGS DRIVE. A residence was entered and some surround sound speakers were cut down. The speakers were placed in a bag and left outside the door. No forced entry was noted.

DWLI: 1900 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to have a suspended driver's license. Nathan Akers was arrested.

FORGERY: 1218 DOUGLASS ROAD. A known suspect cashed a forged payroll check at a business.

HIT AND RUN-DWI: 1700 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. A vehicle struck a utility pole and the driver left on foot. He was located a short time later and suspected of being intoxicated. Travosky Ballard was arrested.

THEFT: 600 BLOCK OF ORTON STREET. An orange and black rampage bike was reported stolen from a residence.

THEFT: 1500 BLOCK OF PEARL. A 1 ½ inch impact wrench and a 20 ton hydraulic jack was reported stolen from the back of a pickup that was parked.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 4900 BLOCK OF NORTH EAST STALLINGS DRIVE. Unknown suspect broke out a window and stole a purse from a parked vehicle.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE (2 COUNTS): 1200 BLOCK OF MOUND STREET. Two vehicles parked in a parking lot had windows broken out. A coat and a radio were stolen from one and Christmas presents were stolen from the other.
