Trying to climb back up the national bass fishing rankings, S.F.A. dominated their own tournament Thursday and Friday. The Lumberjacks took the top three spots at the S.F.A. Bass Club Tournament.
Kendall Wleczyk and Ryan Watkins dominated the field to win the top honor. S.F.A.'s tandem of Blake Whatley and Andrew Upshaw took third. Evan Lewis and Brett Sobczak took third.
The 'Jacks expected to dominate Lake Sam Rayburn, but they did it in impressive fashion. The tournament brought in 29 schools. Teams from Oklahoma, Mississippi State, Purdue and Alabama were among those that made it to East Texas.
