Funeral services for Helen Louise "Babb" Morgan, 86, of Lufkin will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gene Hazell officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Morgan was born November 7, 1921 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Lula Lillian (Mangum) and Charles Andrew Babb, and died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Morgan was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. She was a homemaker, and loved cooking, sewing, quilting, crocheting and working in her yard. Mrs. Morgan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always thought of other people first, and always had a kind word for everyone. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Ramona Morgan of Lufkin, son, Donald Morgan of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jan Morgan of Diboll; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Charles Hudnall of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Janice Morgan of Charleston, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kimberly Morgan, Pamela Morgan, Shay Hobbs, Cole Morgan and wife Elizabeth, Wesley Morgan and wife Nikki, Craig Hudnall, Jerod Hudnall and wife Shawna, and Brent Morgan; six great-grandchildren; brother, Rex Babb of Clarksville, Tennessee; special friend, Joyce Havard; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R. A. Morgan; grandson, Darryl Morgan; sister, Dorothy Holloway; brother, C. B. Babb; and daughter-in-law, Margaret Morgan.

Pallbearers will be Craig Hudnall, Jerod Hudnall, Cole Morgan, Wes Morgan, Brent Morgan and Joseph Davis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Building Fund, 3742 FM 2108, Lufkin, Texas 75901.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
